Accounts Not Upgraded to PD Reliability Platform
Accounts not on PD Reliability Platform use User Icon My Profile instead of Settings throughout this article.
- Navigate to Settings.
Configure the following items in your user profile:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| My Profile | Add your name, job title, biography, language, and time zone. Your recent activity appears at the bottom of the page. For more information, refer to My Profile. |
| Contact Information | Enter your contact information to receive PagerDuty incident notifications. For more information, refer to Contact Information. |
| Notification Rules | Set up rules to determine how and when you receive notifications about PagerDuty incidents. These rules apply to both the frequency of notifications and the methods used (push notifications, phone calls, SMS, email, or Slack). You can configure different sets of rules for high- and low-urgency incidents, and when incidents change. For more information, refer to Notification Rules. |
| User Settings | Configure login information, view your user role, manage linked accounts and applications, and other settings. For more information, refer to User Settings. |
| Permissions and Teams (Available only with advanced permissions) | Review your base role, teams you are a part of, and team roles assigned to you. For more information, refer to Advanced Permissions and Teams articles. |
| On-Call Shifts | This tab offers a single overview of your shifts across all escalation policies and schedules. The My On-Call Shifts section shows whether you are on call now, with a list of your associated shifts and their schedule for the upcoming weeks and months. It is also available as a widget on the right side of the incidents page, which shows your current shift and your next on-call time. You can create override shifts across multiple schedules because all shifts are accessible in one place. For more information, refer to My On-Call Shifts. |
Managing Business Service Subscriptions
On PD Reliability Platform accounts, business service subscriptions have moved out of your user profile to Configuration Incident Response Service Subscriptions. On accounts not on PD Reliability Platform, the Subscriptions tab is still part of My Profile. For more information, refer to Business Service Subscription. Status update notifications are configured on the Notification Rules tab.
