Status Page Tutorial
Status Pages provide a single source of truth for not only your internal teams, but also your external users and customers during an incident.
PagerDuty's Status Pages are a centralized location for your responders to post updates on the current conditions of a live incident. Our Status Pages are split into three functions by audience type:
- Internal Status Pages are for your internal users only, helpful for providing more in-depth and proprietary information for your stakeholders.
- External Status Pages allow you to update your users and customers during an incident.
- A Private Status Page provides updates to authorized users only, ensuring that private data stays private while also keeping key stakeholders informed. These pages can be used for communicating with a mix of internal and external users.
Update your status pages directly from PagerDuty using pre-programmed templates, so your message is always correct. Easy updates mean your responders and liasons aren't spending time searching for where to publish and who to inform.
