# Get Service Details

Returns a service's configuration details, including its escalation policy, collaboration channel, and other service settings.

## Description

Returns details about a Service, including the Escalation Policy, collaboration channel, and more.

## Instructions

1. If you have not done so, follow the instructions to [Create an Incident Workflow](/ai-automation/automation/incident-workflows#create-an-incident-workflow).
2. When the instructions prompt you to [add actions](/ai-automation/automation/incident-workflows#add-actions), select **this action**.
3. Enter the following **Inputs** and click **Save**.
4. Continue following instructions to **Publish** the Workflow.
5. When the action runs, you will see the **Outputs** listed below.

| Service ID | The ID of the service whose details will be returned |

| Details | The JSON-formatted details of the service. **Note**: This JSON will exactly match the value of the service property returned from the endpoint linked below. |
| Name | The name of the service |
| HTML URL | The URL of the service in the PagerDuty web app |
| Description | Description of the service |
| Escalation Policy ID | The ID of the Escalation Policy associated with the service Teams |
| Teams | The array of Teams associated with the service |
| Support Hours | The Support Hours associated with the service |
| On-call Now User IDs | The IDs of the users currently on-call for the service |
| On-call Now User Names | The names of the users currently on-call for the service |
| Communication Channel ID | The ID of the communication channel associated with the service |
| Communication Channel Name | The name of the communication channel associated with the service |
| Result | Value that shows if the action was successful or not. Either "Success" or "Failed." |
| Result Summary | Brief description of what the action did or if it failed |
| Error | Brief description that populates if the action failed |
