# Google Workspace Integration Guide

Configure the Google Workspace integration.

## Google Workspace Integration Capabilities

* Connect your PagerDuty account with your Google Workspace account.
* Allow incident workflows to create on-demand Google Meet meetings and attach them to incidents.

> **Availability:** This integration is available on current Business, Enterprise for Incident Management, and Digital Operations (Legacy) plans. Contact the [Sales Team](https://www.pagerduty.com/contact-sales/) to upgrade your account to include this integration.

> **Limited Use Policy:** The use of raw or derived data received from Workspace APIs adheres to the [Google User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

## Requirements

| Application | Requirement |
| :--- | :--- |
| **PagerDuty** | You must have the Admin, Global Admin, or Account Owner role to configure the integration. |
| **Google** | You must have administrator permissions to configure the integration. |

## How It Works

1. When you connect your PagerDuty account with your Google Workspace account, PagerDuty authenticates with Google via [OAuth 2.0](https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/oauth2) and establishes a secure connection.
2. When an incident configured with the [Google Meet: Add a Conference Bridge](/workflow-actions/google-meet/google-meet-add-a-conference-bridge-to-an-incident) incident workflow integration triggers, PagerDuty automatically generates an incident-specific meeting ID and adds it to the incident.
3. Responders join the Google Meet conference bridge directly from the incident in the web app or mobile app, from conference-bridge notifications, or via [One Touch to Join](/incident-management/incidents/conference-bridge#one-touch-to-join-conference-bridge).

## Configure the Integration

1. In the PagerDuty web app, navigate to **Integrations**  →  **Extensions**  →  **Google**.
2. On the **Google Workspace** page, click **Connect a new Workspace**.
3. On the Google authorization screen, select a Google account.
4. Click **Continue** to allow signing into your account, and click **Allow** to confirm the Google account integration with PagerDuty. 

After successful integration, you see a confirmation message in the web app and the PagerDuty account connects.

## Reauthorize the Google Integration

To reauthorize the Google integration:

1. In the PagerDuty web app, navigate to **Integrations**  →  **Extensions**  →  **Google**.
2. Click **...** and click **Reauthorize** to refresh your Google account integration with PagerDuty and accept required scopes again.

## Remove the Google Integration

To remove the Google integration:

1. In the PagerDuty web app, navigate to **Integrations**  →  **Extensions**  →  **Google**.
2. Click **...** and click **Disconnect** to disconnect your Google account integration with PagerDuty.

**Who can set up the Google Workspace integration?**

You must have the Admin, Global Admin, or Account Owner role to configure the integration.

**Can I leverage this integration to create a Google Meet conference via incident workflows?**

After publishing, you can add a Google Meet conference via the incident workflow to any incident.

**Who can create a Google Meet conference bridge?**

You can create a meeting after integrating PagerDuty with Google Workspace.

**Where can I join the Google Meet conference from?**

You can join the Google Meet conference bridge directly from the incident details page in the web app or mobile app, from conference-bridge notifications in Slack or Microsoft Teams, or via [One Touch to Join](/incident-management/incidents/conference-bridge#one-touch-to-join-conference-bridge).

**Can I link multiple Google accounts to the same PagerDuty account?**

Yes, you can connect multiple Google accounts with your PagerDuty account.

**Can I leverage this integration for Scribe Agent auto-join?**

Yes. A valid meeting Scribe Agent can join a Google Meet conference. You can add the Scribe Agent to your conference bridges automatically by following the instructions in [Add PagerDuty AI Scribe Agent](/workflow-actions/pagerduty-advance/add-pagerduty-advance-scribe-agent).
